Why do I always soak my nuts and almonds before eating them?🌰💧

Because one simple habit can make them much easier for the body to digest and absorb.

Here’s why I do it:

• Reduces phytic acid🌿
Soaking helps lower phytic acid, a natural compound that can block the absorption of minerals like iron, zinc, and magnesium.

• Easier on digestion🎉
Water helps soften the nuts and may make them gentler on the stomach and easier to digest.

• Better nutrient absorption😁
After soaking, your body can access more of the good nutrients hidden inside.

• Improves texture and taste🌈
They become softer, creamier, and often taste fresher and sweeter.

• Supports a more natural process👏🏼
Soaking mimics the beginning of germination, “awakening” the nut before eating it.

How I do it ✨
I soak almonds or nuts in filtered water for 6–8 hours or overnight, then rinse them well and dry them or keep them in the fridge.

Why make almond milk at home?🥛🥛🥛

* cleaner ingredients
* no gums or preservatives
* tastes fresh and real
* richer and creamier
* healthier for the body
* ready in 5 minutes

✨ Homemade is different.

Ingredients:

* 1 cup organic almonds
* 3–5 cups filtered water
* 1–2 dates optional/ agave / maple
* tiny pinch of sea salt
* optional: vanilla or cinnamon

Instructions:

1. Soak almonds overnight or 8–12 hours
2. Rinse well
3. Blend with fresh water for 1–2 minutes
4. Strain through nut milk bag or thin cloth
5. Store in glass bottle in fridge for 3–4 days

After a long time without practicing this pose, I felt a clear inner need to return to it.

A strong physical practice helps gather the mind into one single point, creates space inside, relaxes the mind, and brings a gentle sense of joy to the heart.

When the core is awake simple movements like walking lifting and sitting become safer and lighter

The center of inner strength confidence and personal power

We make plans and hope everything will unfold the way we imagined but life rarely follows the script in our minds.

When we cling to how things should be we create disappointment and sometimes even suffering.

On our recent trip I wanted different weather, I imagined specific activities with the kids and I spent an entire day lost in self pity instead of being present.

The next day I was able to let go release the expectations and simply enjoy what was actually there.

Yoga supports me in this inner work it reminds me to breathe to witness what rises and not to cling.

Through movement and breath I learn to welcome change to meet reality as it is and to choose softness over resistance.

It is a practice of awareness and surrender choosing again and again to meet life as it comes and to find goodness and grace within it.

אנחנו מתכננים תוכניות וחולמים שהכל יקרה כפי שדמיינו אבל החיים כמעט אף פעם לא הולכים לפי התסריט שלנו.

כשאנחנו נאחזים ברעיון של איך הדברים אמורים להיות אנחנו מייצרים לעצמנו אכזבה ולעיתים גם סבל.

בטיול האחרון רציתי מזג אוויר אחר רציתי פעילויות מסוימות עם הילדים ויום שלם מצאתי את עצמי שקועה ברחמים עצמיים במקום להיות נוכחת.

רק ביום למחרת הצלחתי לשחרר להרפות מהציפיות ולפנות מקום למה שיש ופשוט ליהנות מהרגע.

היוגה עוזרת לי במסע הזה היא מזכירה לי לנשום לראות את מה שעולה ולא להיאחז.

דרך התנועה והנשימה אני לומדת לקבל את השינוי לפגוש את המציאות כפי שהיא ולבחור רכות במקום מאבק.
זו עבודה פנימית של התבוננות ושחרור לבחור בכל פעם מחדש להיות עם מה שמגיע ולמצוא את הטוב שוב ושוב.
