לטיול יצאנו והחלטנו להדרים עד דהב. מה שבעצם הפך לטיול הכנה לעוד טיולי צלילה רבים שעוד יבואו.
ביום הראשון הגענו מאוחר והספקנו רק לעשות צ'ק דייב בחוף המגדלור בדהב.
למחרת כבר התחלנו עם האתרים המפורסמים ביותר ברצועה שסביב דהב. את הבוקר התחלנו ב”קניון”, ומשם המשכנו בצלילה מאתר “הפעמונים” עד ל”חור הכחול”. את היום סיימנו בצלילת אחה"צ באתר “משרבה” בדהב.
את הימים השלישי והרביעי החלטנו להעביר בצלילות ברצועה הבתולית של ראס אבו גאלום – גולת הכותרת של הטיול הזה. ההגעה לאיזור נעשתה על גבי גמלים בהליכה צפונה מאיזור החור הכחול.
עם הגיענו לשם ירדנו לצלילה מדהימה ביופיה בצפון ראס אבו גאלום. אחרי ארוחת צהריים בקאמפ הבדווי יצאנו לצלילה נוספת בטריגר פיש גארדן (צלילת ערב מטריפה עם מאות טריגר פיש בצבעי טורקיז ותכלת.
למחרת התחלנו את הבוקר ב- 4:30 בצלילת לילה. את הצלילה סיימנו כשהשמש מתחילה להגביה מעל הרי סעודיה – חלום!
בהמשך היום נתנו שתי צלילות נוספות באיזור הלגונה הכחולה ובטריגר פיש גארדן, הפעם בשעות האור.
חזרנו משם לגבול עייפים וסופר מרוצים, בידיעה שהפעם הבאה תהיה ממש מעבר לפינה…

We went on a trip and decided to go as south as Dahab. What made it a pilot trip for many more dive trips to come.
In the 1st day we arrived late so we only managed to do a check dive in Dahab “Lighthouse”.
The next day we started with Dahab most famous dive sites. The morning started with a dive to “The Canyon”. From there we went to a drift dive from “the bells” to “The Blue Hole”. The day ended up with an afternoon dive at “Mashraba” back in Dahab.
We decided to pass our 3rd and 4th days at the virgin beach stripe of Ras Abu Galum – the highlight of this trip. The voyage there started at “The Blue Hole” from where we took a camel trip northwards. As soon as we arrived we went diving at the gorgeous “North Ras Abu Galum”. After lunch at the Bedouin camp we went for another dive at “Triger fish garden” – a spectacular evening dive with hundreds of turquoise and light blue trigger fish.
The next day we woke up at 4:30 for our morning night dive. We finished this amazing dive as the sun rose above the mountains of Saudi Arabia – Pure magic.
In the rest of the day we managed to do 2 more dives in the Blue lagoon area and in “Triger fish garden”, this time at full day light.
We went back to the border tired but extremely satisfied, knowing the next time is just around the corner…
