Our First Team are back in Munster Senior League Junior Division 3 action this Friday night as we welcome St Mary’s AFC to Ardrath Park.

🏆 CORK SCHOOLGIRLS LEAGUE – U14 GIRLS 🏆

Tonight our girls played their first ever Cork Schoolgirls League match against Carrigtwohill — and what a way to start! 👏🔥

Carrigtwohill took the lead, but our girls showed exactly what this team is made of…

1–0 down ➡️ 1–1 ➡️ 2–1 down ➡️ 2–2 ➡️ 3–2 WIN! 🤯🔥

The character, determination and never-say-die attitude shown by the girls tonight was incredible. 💙 They kept fighting, kept believing and never let their heads drop — even when they found themselves behind twice.

🛡️ A HUGE TEAM PERFORMANCE

Our defence was outstanding tonight, showing strength, determination and composure when it mattered most. 💪👏

There were brilliant individual performances all over the pitch, with some incredible skill, attacking play and teamwork on display.

But tonight was about EVERY SINGLE GIRL.

From the first whistle to the last, they battled for each other, supported each other and showed exactly what it means to play as a team.

To come from behind TWICE and finish the night with a 3–2 victory is something they should be incredibly proud of.

Blarney Utd 3-0 Youghal Utd

Our first competitive league fixture ended in a 3-0 defeat to Blarney United.

Despite the result a really positive performance from the lads, creating plenty of chances, with the Blarney goalkeeper having an excellent game. The third goal coming in the final minute was a little harsh on us, but plenty of positives to take and lots to build on.
