Maybe I can do it with a heavier weight??? But I only tried in one attempt because I wanted to get it done and filmed before anyone walked in on me 😂 and I definitely was not about to attempt a revele even without a bar lol 🧑‍🩰🩰

Toss weights around with me 👀 find me on the schedule on Thursday mornings or book a 1:1 gym session with me instead (in the Fianna app) 😎

Happy (belated) Global Running Day!!! All hope isn’t lost if you hate running but want to enjoy it - just may take a while for your mindset to shift 😂 after so many years of dreading, it’s now my “chosen” sport.

You don’t NEED to run but you should be including moderate to vigorous aerobic activity for heart health, to prevent metabolic diseases, and for your longevity🫀

And if you want to run but you’re worried about hurting yourself - running itself isn’t the reason for injury. It’s when you do too much too soon. Start slowly with run walk intervals and incorporate appropriate strength training.

If you’re looking to start off a sustainable training plan that includes running and lifting, whether it’s for a race you have in mind or for overall health, I will have space for a couple more online clients starting next week. Comment BEGIN to receive a link to apply for coaching or send me a dm and I’ll be in touch ☺️

I have so much fun teaching my classes but then I completely crash soon as the final one is done 🤣 I need a few moments of disassociation before I can clean the room 😆

Anyone else? 😅

Most adults haven’t jumped since they were kids. Not because they can’t but because nothing in their daily life asks them to. The problem is your body adapts to what you do, aaand it also adapts to what you don’t do!

When you stop producing force quickly, you lose power. When you stop loading your skeleton with impact, your bones lose density. Good news is that none of this is permanent. Your body responds to what you ask of it, at any age. You just have to start small - a few hops or skips, then build from there. Your 80-year-old self will thank you.

Do you jump regularly?? Do you remember the last time you did any explosive movements?
