Annamoe Family Fishing Pond Annamoe Family Fishing Pond has been the venue for children catching their first fish for the last 3 If you are nervous of holding fish they will help you.

We are Irelands oldest Family Fishery, generations of children have been introduced to fishing at our fishing pond. You can simply hire your rod, our staff will instruct and assist you with catching your fish. You can then cook it on your barbeque in our picnic area. Our pond is well stocked with trout averaging 10”-12”, ideal location for your child birthday party outings.

Corporate Outings & Team Bonding Fun Activity days out are very popular and always prove to be a great day away from the office. The emphasis is on fishing, relaxation and enjoyment. Spend a couple of hours fishing with professional guidance available. Hold a fishing competition, or just kick back socially with your work colleagues, do a bit of “bonding”

Located just 30 min from Dublin, Annamoe Fishery is the perfect place to enjoy a day of fishing in the perfect setting of the Wicklow Mountains National Park. We are open from 12.00pm - 6.00 pm open 7 days June, July & August and during weekends for April, May, September, October

In the event of Irish weather turning bad you can seek shelter. Tea & Coffee is available in our log cabin together with light snacks and a selection of refreshments. We also have a fly fishing lake with tuition available. Learn how to Fly Fish with a professional instructor in Wicklow! Annamoe Trout Fishery is a 4 acre lake set on the banks of the Annamoe River. The lake is filled with trout up to 20lbs weight, where fly fishing only is permitted. Annamoe Fishery is also specialised in providing fly fishing classes for beginners and more advanced fishermen. Fly Fishing - daily from 10am to dusk except on Saturdays when the fishery will close at 7pm. Directions: Coming from Dublin -take N11/M11 as far as Kilmacanogue, turn left past the petrol station and follow the signs for Roundwood - R755, continue on towards Glendalough for another 5km to the village of Annamoe. The Fly Fishing Lake was re stocked on 18th May with good quality Rainbow Trout average size 3lbs.
Klinkhammers and Knotted Midges on the surface are working and Buzzers, Blood Worms and Green Damsels below the surface are also attracting the hard fighting rainbows.
The Family Fishing Pond is no longer open.
The Fly Fishing Lake for adults only is open daily from 10am until dusk.
Rod Hire needs to be booked in advance.
We don't have credit card facilities.
Fly Casting Lessons are available but must be pre booked.

THE FLY FISHING LAKE REMAINS OPEN EVERY DAY FROM 10 AM UNTIL DUSK FOR ANGLERS USING THEIR OWN FLY FISHING RODS.

The Family Fishing Pond is now closed on week days. It will be open on Saturdays and Sundays from 12pm until 6pm until further notice.

Why not give the children a treat before they go back to school.
Bring them on a fishing trip to Annamoe Trout Fishery. We open daily from 12 until 6 until the end of August. There after we only open on Saturdays and Sundays.. There is no need to book. Rod Hire + Bait and Bag is 5 euro ( we only charge for the person that is fishing ). Fish caught must be bought at 4 euro each.
Remember to bring your picnic..

Here is a suggestion for a family day out in this nice summer weather.Pack a picnic and go fishing. The children will enjoy the experience. There is no need to book. Rod Hire and bait + bag costs 5 euro and all trout caught cost 4 euro each. There is no admission charge for those that are not fishing. The Family Fishing Pond opens daily from 12 pm closes at 6 pm.
Bring the trout home and enjoy them in your evening meal.

Our Fly Fishing only lake opens daily from 10 am until dusk and is suitable for adults and teenagers. Rod hire is available. Different charges apply here. We also give Fly Casting Lessons by appointment. Gift Vouchers may be purchased.
