Our squad includes Dylan Cavazza (Greystones), Jack Conroy (Belvoir Park), Ruairi Cooper (Enniscorthy), Justin Dennehy (Douglas), Ollie McEvoy (Ballycastle), Rubén Rivas McHugh (Tralee), Alex Kearney (Stackstown), Qingyun Elsa Chen (Grange), Emma Haugh (Greystones) and Eva Branks (Malone).

They’re joined by the support team of Michelle Carroll (Girls Coach), Brenda Craig (Girls Captain), Ian Kearney (Boys Coach) and Des Molyneaux (U16 Boys Captain).

A great year for our teams. Lot of hard work and committment from players and managers.
Big well done to the Fred Daly Under 18 team, winning the green one. Also to our Under 15’s defending their Leinster Title.

One of the biggest areas I see where and why golfers don’t improve is their practice environments.
Work on technique-work on skill but there needs be a time where golfers challenge themselves in a competitive practice environment.
Try this next time you practice:
❌ No phones.
❌ No Headphones/Airpods
❌ Set up tasks that are challenging. Don’t stop if you start bad. Measure the performance.

A Quick Look on PGA Tour website- Best on tour scrambling from 20-30 yards around the green is 71.33%. Pick a 9 hole course around a green with 3 easy holes, 3 hard and 3 medium- finish out and score.
Pick a different challenge every practice session.
Measure your performance. Same for all areas of your game.

Practice sessions shouldn’t be “winged”, organise and plan the sessions.

A great course I did recently was with with on how the best players in the world practice and develop their games.

Start now. Plan your practice. Don’t wing it.
