Our course which was upgraded in 2006, is a 71 par course measuring 5950 metres from the championship tees and provides a challenge for players of all standards. This week’s main competition was the Eleanor Conway Scotch Foursomes Trophy, very kindly sponsored by Slice at Wexford Golf Club. There were some great scores returned but none better than Aisling & Triona who played fabulous golf to an accumulate 44 points off a handicap of 6! Second place was very tightly contested with Cathriona & Leonie just getting the nod ahead of Madge and Martina on the countback. Well played ladies and thanks to Andy for his generous sponsorship.

Our incoming Lady Captain Kay McCabe made the big announcement this evening as she revealed the identity of her Vice Captain for 2027! Congratulations to Breda Murphy who will be expertly guided by Kay in all aspects of the role. No doubt they will form a strong partnership to continue the great work of all our Past Captains and follow the great traditions of our club and perhaps even form some new ones! Everyone in the ladies’ club extends their very best wishes and pledges of support for our incoming Lady Vice Captain Breda.

⛳ Wexford Golf Club – Competition Results! ⛳

A fantastic turnout for the Trinity Motors Singles 18H Stableford competition held over the weekend of September 5th & 6th, 2026.

With 224 players taking part, competition was fierce across all divisions!

Huge congratulations to our Overall Winner, Stephen McEvoy, who topped the leaderboard with an incredible score of 43 points! 🏆

On another lovely day, we had good turnout yesterday for our Trinity Motors 18 hole Stableford competition. Congratulations to Catherine Berney on carding a super 41 points to claim first place and to Helen and Josephine who were second and third with 38 points each, decided by the B9.

Well done also to Ella who had another great score of 24 points to win the 10 hole competition.

Well done to all the prize winners, players and everyone who participated during the season and could not attend this evening. We are delighted to welcome you into our club and look forward to seeing you all on the fairways as you continue to make progress on your journey into golf.

Huge congratulations to all the winners of today’s 18 Hole WGC Open L&G Singles, sponsored by WGC! We had a fantastic turnout with 71 players hitting the course today, Wednesday, 2nd Sept 2026.
