Couch 2 5k Are you interested in starting running? Would you like to be able to run a 5k? Our 6 week program Couch to 5k Wexford. Total cost for all is just €80.

Our 6 week program is designed for people with little to no running experience, but would like to be able to get to the point of being able to run 5k. We would be meeting twice weekly in a group in your area, you will be taken through a warm up, brought out on the road for a run/walk, building up weekly, back for a cool down and stretch. I would be talking you through proper running form, which he

lps to avoid injury. On starting the program you will get a drawstring bag, and high-viz jacket. On completion of the 6 week program, we will run a 5k together, and you will be presented with a finishers certificate and RunWexford medal. If you are interested in us running this in your area, please pm me with your name, contact number and the area you are from. Once we have enough interest in the area, we will get you up and running asap!

I have taken on Ray’s Marathon Challenge in aid of Laura Lynn.
The aim is to complete marathon distance every week for the whole year! I A marathon must be covered every week so there is no room for getting injured or having a lazy week!
I have just completed marathon no 1 ☝️

This weeks round up!!
Bree girls braved a storm to come out on Monday night. I can't believe we're coming into our last week!! Looking forward to our full 5k on Monday night!
The Wexford Town evening girls are flying it. With 6 minute intervals done with ease!! Helen surprised herself I think showing her natural speed!! No holding back now Helen 😂.
The follow on group are doing great, with a tough interval session on Tuesday and a tough 8k done on Thursday. Getting strong girls. Looking forward to our track session on Monday!!
Cathy and Anne-Marie did great on their 9 minute intervals this morning! 2 very determined ladies.
Carol is getting stronger by the week improving her running style. Looking forward to hearing how you get on tomorrow Carol. Remember, you can do it!!!
