Robert H Steinke-Master Saddler, Harness Maker, Author Robert H Steinke, Master Saddler, Harness Maker & Equestrian Author The Queen before starting his own business in 1970.

The designer and maker of this harness, Robert Steinke, served his apprenticeship with Keith Luxford, saddlers to H.M. Specialising in made to measure driving harness he has exhibited at numerous shows including Royal Welsh, B.S.P.S. Champs, British Driving Society Show at Windsor, Equitana at Essen in Germany, Irish Driving Champs at Birr Castle, London Design Centre and Royal Dublin Show where h

e is on the judging panel of the National Craft Competition. His work is also in the stables of the Royal Mews London, King Hussan of Jorden & King Idris of Libya. He is the author of 7 books on saddlery & driving harness and contributed to several equestrian magazines. His equestrian activities include showing, hunting, driving and dressage.
