This is your invitation to come and join the members of Westport Golf Club on June 29th at 4.am and prove you are mad......mad about golf. Westport Golf Club wish to invite the past & present overseas members of every golf club in Ireland to join with them for their International Gathering of Golfing Insomniacs event, which takes place on Saturday 29th June, 2013. This is your opportunity to enjoy

the 18 hole Fred Hawtree designed course set in the grounds of Westport House, on the shores of Clew Bay where Croagh Patrick follows every shot. Follow in the footsteps of world number 1 golfer Rory McIlroy who recorded his first senior national title at the age of 15 (Irish Amateur Close Championship) back in 2005. As you play your first few holes, watch how Croagh Patrick awakes from her slumber as she is stirred by the dawn of a new day. Join 3 of your friends or come alone and meet three other golfing mortals who are mad.....mad about golf!
