Routine leads to habit. Everybody has routine be it good or bad or simply a part of life like brushing our teeth in the morning.

For example if you want have a healthier life make the conscious decision to eat a healthy breakfast or stretch in the morning. it will seem like a job at first but over time it will get easier and it can have a positive turnover onto other parts of your life.

Its because of routine that we develop habits. If you want to change something about your life make the conscious decision to making it a routine and it will slowly become a habit.

I've started cold showers in the morning as my shift of routine and it feels great (afterwards). It has numerous health benefits but a big reason why i started doing it is because its an uncomfortable place, the cold and I make my first decision of the day to be comfortable being uncomfortable and that will have a carryover onto the rest of my day. If you want progression you have to be willing to get outside your comfort zone.
