A great result for St Paul’s FC in the Munster Cup!

Lisduggan Credit Union was delighted to be part of the occasion and is proud to sponsor St Paul’s FC, supporting a club that plays such an important role in our local community.

Munster cup result ⚽️

St Paul’s 2-1 Tycor AFC

The moon hosted a clash of the parish and tycor premiers today, it was a game that both teams put their bodies on the line and fought for every ball .

After a lively start from the away team the deadlock was broke on the 16th minute , the lads from the parish kept fighting a lovely threw ball from toff tested Clinton Bempah speed and he finished from the angle to make it 1-1 .Both team created chances but both keepers and defences stayed strong .

The second half and the battle in the midfield picked up with Stevey , toff and Michael battling for everything , up top Willie , Clinton and Robert put in so much work rate and creating chances . It was out substitute Bryan Trigger Walsh who finished the ball lovely on the 70th minute , to put the parish 2-1 .

Our defence of paddy , Robin Brophy , Aidan Humphries and Kian Moran stood strong and put there body on the line . Tycor created some chances coming to end but it was our keeper Lee who stood strong and made some great saves . All the subs and squad came on and worked so hard to send the parish on to the next round 💙💙⚽️

A great turn out for our academy today, the young boys and girls had plenty fun and celebrations. Well done all. Every Wednesdays 5-6pm.

Tomorrow Wednesday sees our accademy boys and girls come together for fun and games, all boys and girls welcomed from age 6 - 10 years of age , 5pm to 6pm.

This Saturday we host Tycor AFC in the Munster Cup with a 2pm kick off. We would like to thank Lisduggan Credit Union for getting on board on sponsoring this match.

Will be a bucket on the gate all donations welcomed. Thank you 💙🤍

A tough away trip for lads today as came across table toppers Tramore Rngrs , we took an early lead thru Scott Ryan , but seasiders battled hard to take back the lead, the parish came back into it and should of earned the draw but Rangers held out for the win, unlucky lads .

Ferrybank AFC Soccer Club 5

The lads battled throughout the game but early goals killed them, Goalscorers at the end The parish couldn't find equaliser at 4-3 , Our Goalscorers Willie o Rielly, Kian Moran and Josh Fanning . Ferrybank sealed it with there 5th to take the points. Best for The parish Ethan Halloran Robin Brophy .

Saturday sees our 1A team host Ferrybank AFC Soccer Club on the Moon k.o 2pm.

Sunday morning sees our 3'A side travel to seaside to play Tramore Rangers Football Club k.o 11am.
