The Irish falconers club was formed in 2013 to facilitate falconers that wanted a club that was seriously focused on hunting with these magnificent birds.

A collection of pics from our 2016 season. We would like to thank the Land owners, Estate owners and shoot syndicate's that have been kind enough to offer us their lands and game to fly our hawks. With this being the end of our season, I would like to personally thank each and everyone of the club members for the effort and hard work you have put in this season, we have held a total of 8 meets this season and although club work can be thankless sometimes I thank you for everything. To all the commitee members, club members,supporters and spectators well done on another great season. On a personal note I am extremely proud of the club we have established although I do prefer to call it a group of good friends for I feel if we keep it that way we will go a long way to promoting and engaging in the sport we all love so much, I personally have met some lifelong friends through what we have done here and I know ye also have, for that alone it is worth the work and effort we put in each season, so thanks lads. We will be announcing a date for an agm soon. So from me signing off for another season, Thanks again.

Third meet of the season held in Co. Wexford, Great weather all birds in good form good sport and better company with the best bunch of lads in the game. Huge thanks to our hosts at Wells House and a thanks to John Carroll for helping out organizing the meet, you are heading for member of the year John, 2 weeks to the next one can't wait.

A few pics from a recent Goshawk fieldmeet the IFC held... unfortunately a few members could not attend but a great day was had by all...We would like to thank Keith Murphy and the gun club for providing a very sporting day and Mark Hayes for organising the day.

On behalf of all the members of the Irish Falconers Club we would like to congradulate our member and friend Mr. Kenneth Smith for his outstanding achievements as a breeder of hawks and falcons.Ken has bred goshawks that went on to win several spanish sky trials not to mention the hunting goshawks that are excelling in the field all across europe. More recently Ken has bred falcons that have won top honours in Abu Dhabi and Dubai they have gone on to win Elite cups, Challenge cups, and the Presidents gold telwan cup, not once or twice but three times.It is a remarkable achievement and deserved success for the hard work and long hours that Ken puts in during a hectic breeding season.So Ken from all of us to you congratulations we wish you every success in the future.

The I.F.C held their last meet of the season on the beautiful grounds of Artramon Farm in Co.Wexford. We would like to thank the shoot Syndicate and the owner's for allowing us to hold a meet on their lands. We had a great day and look forward to a return visit next season.Thanks to John Carroll for securing the venue and organising the meet.

Today 29th dec 2014 The Irish Falconers Club held their last meet of this year, This was one of the better days and that is mostly down to our hosts, We would like to express a huge thank you to the Moore family for putting up with us again this year, and for the hospitality that was shown to us was second to none , I can safely say the annual trip to Co, Carlow is becoming one of our calander highlights. A big thanks must also go to those who helped out on the day and particularly Ken Smith for organising the meet.

Thank you to the staff and gamekeeper (kenny) of Ballydugan estate and John Carmicheal for all their help on the day it was a fantastic meeting and we are all looking forward to a return visit, all the birds were successful and the dogs and guests well behaved. A big thanks also to Mr.Sam Hill for the hard work organising such a fantastic meet.Well done to all the hawkers and handlers.
