Congratulations to our own Debra Wildansyah who took joint third place today in the national mixed Doubles in Bayside Boules. Debra partnered with Roberto Caira from Park Petanque Club Dublin Ireland, with some very strong wins in what was a very competitive 20 teams.
Congratulations to Sariff Antooaroo and Barbara who took first place with Kévin Méniel & @ Mary Donohoe from Park Petanque taking 2nd.

Fun Tuesday session, as always, and today was extra special as we were joined by our Pétanque buddies from down under, Lynn and Mel, who’s travelled all the way from NSW, Australia 🇦🇺🦘🐨

They’ve travelled to all parts of Ireland and played a few games with other clubs and they made Waterford PC their last stop on their grand Irish Pétanque tour. We had some good matches and great banter. Safe journey home and we hope to see you again!

A big thanks to Cahir Pètanque Club for hosting today’s interclub friendly. Amazing organisation, incredible hospitality and some excellent games of pétanque. Fair play to uPVC Ltd who sponsored the prizes.

Last Sunday, two of our Vikings from Waterford Petanque Club Beatrice and Yaan made their way to Bayside Boules to compete in the National Singles Final.

Yaan was in absolute beast mode and after battling it out on the pistes he managed to secure a place on the podium and be runner up after Sariff and then Vik came in third - both from Park Pétanque Dublin. Congratulations and well deserved 🥳🎉

After fiercely battling it out in Frankfield, here are the results:

• IRELAND A secured #1 spot on the tournament while WALES, SCOTLAND and IRELAND B are on #2, #3 and #4, respectively - COME ON IRELAND 🇮🇪

• IRELAND B2 (Waterford Petanque Club) won 3 out of 6 games, beating both WALES 2 and WALES 3
