Our hearts are absolutely broken following the devastating fire on Saturday. We are devastated for our friends Blanaid MacCann & all her staff Nomac Productions who have been a constant, always there to help with our society for the last 40 years. We also are thinking of Jean Upton & Elleanor & all their staff Waterford Centre of Music who have been great supporters of our Society also for the last 40years.

The theatre and musical community in Waterford is more than, stages and shows — it’s family. We know the passion, dedication and years of hard work that go into building something so special, and we can only imagine the heartbreak being felt by all right now.

Please know that the entire Waterford Panto Society family is thinking of you all and standing beside you during this incredibly difficult time. Brighter days will come again, and this wonderful community will rally around you every step of the way ❤️

We would love to wish everybody in Waterford Musical Society an absolutely brilliant run of 'Calamity Jane' in the Theatre Royal Waterford this week. Many of our members and friends are involved on stage and behind the scenes as well as a huge cohort of Waterford Theatre performers. Hello Waterford! Here we go again!

Yes we’re back after our Winter / Spring break and delighted to confirm that this years production in Theatre Royal Waterford will be ‘Sleeping Beauty’. As usual we will run for the entire month of December in the ancient heart of our City with Winterval, Santa and everything Christmas within a couple of steps from our front door.

All the usual fun, craic, Spraoi designed sets, award winning spectacular costumes, full live band and familiar faces bursting with energy will be up on the Theatre Royal stage.

Welcome back to our brilliant media partners at WLR FM. We’re delighted to have them as part of the fun and hijinks for another year. We’re also proud to be part of Winterval Waterford - the biggest and best Christmas festival in the country and look forward to where that takes us this year.

Most importantly - we know times are tough - and so we are also delighted to confirm that we’ve doubled down on ticket costs and you will once again be able to get a family of 4 into see our Panto for under 100 euro inclusive of all booking fees - that’s the best value in Town once again and we’ll have tickets on sale later in the year as usual. Thats across all performances - guaranteed. We want you all to be able to experience the magic of Christmas with your families. Watch our socials for all the information on that.

So without further ado December ’26 is in the sights and we’re ready to go on this years Panto journey… keep your eye on the socials for an absolute ton of photos, videos and everything Panto related… it’s going to be one hell of a fun year. After all - it’s still part of our 40th year until this years show opens :)
