Great to have Mary Curran represent our club as Bord na nÓg Port Lairge secretary
Meet the team !!
Every committee needs a good secretary.
Meet our Secretary Mary ,
Her love of GAA began at a young age, attending countless games with her father, a dedicated club and county man who was heavily involved in Gaelic games throughout the years, a tradition that continues for Mary’s household .
Mary’s club is St Oliver’s, an organisation she is immensely proud to represent. She believes the passion, commitment and enthusiasm demonstrated by players, parents and mentors within the club are reflected in the strong levels of participation across all underage age groups.
Mary was invited to join BNN last year and considers her role as Secretary both a privilege and an honour. While acknowledging that the position can be demanding at times, she credits the support of her dedicated Chairperson, fellow committee members and the outstanding club secretaries throughout the county for ensuring that any challenge can be successfully overcome.
Over the past 18 months, Mary has attended a significant number of underage football and hurling games across the county and is highly optimistic about the future of Waterford GAA. She has been particularly impressed by the depth of talent emerging in both codes at underage level and is excited by the opportunities and success that lie ahead.
