A brilliant effort by DLS team today against Park Rangers.
We started strong with some good direct play in midfield and deservedly scored after 10 minutes from a corner with Dominykas finishing to the net. We kept pressing and created another chance with Rumi finishing it to make it 2-0.
We were playing some good football and our defensive backline held firm to deny Park Rangers. We had plenty of other chances that we should have finished but we found the Away keeper in inspired form.
Park Rangers scored after a couple of defensive mistakes where we failed to clear our lines.
The first half finished 2-1.
At the start of 2nd half, Park Rangers created some chances and scored within the 10 minutes of the restart. We conceded after mistakes at the back. We didn't let our heads drop, and kept searching for the equalizer. Some good play down the wing created another chance and Jesse scored to make it 3-3.
We kept the pressure and had a few more chances, but lady luck didn't shine on us as we couldn't find a winner despite our best efforts. The match finished 3-3 and everyone should be really proud of themselves. An amazing effort by the team for the 1st game! Onwards and upwards.
