A huge congratulations to our own David Walsh on being recognised by Basketball Ireland as the Munster Volunteer of the Year at the recent Annual Awards Dinner in the Osprey Hotel, Naas.

This is an incredibly well deserved honour for someone who gives so much of his time, energy and commitment to Tramore Basketball Club year after year. Whether coaching, helping organise, supporting players, or simply being there whenever needed, David represents everything that is good about volunteerism in sport and community clubs.

While this award recognises David individually, it is also a reminder of the unbelievable volunteer spirit that exists throughout our club. From coaches, managers and committee members to table officials, parents, drivers, fundraisers, referees and supporters, our club simply would not function without the dedication of so many people who give their time freely for the benefit of our young players and wider community.

David’s award is something the entire club can be proud of and a fitting acknowledgement of the standards, values and community spirit that continue to drive Tramore Basketball Club forward.

Thanks to the men's team contingent who gate crashed the early part of the ceremony on their way from the Dublin Masters to say hello!

Congratulations once again David, and thank you for everything you do for our club.

🏀 Saturday Basketball in the Hall 🏀

We are delighted to welcome to Tramore tomorrow for two end-of-season friendly games against our girls teams.

These games are a fantastic opportunity for the players to continue their development, enjoy strong competition and round off the season in the right spirit.

📍 Old CBS Hall, Tramore
⏰ U16 Girls – 12:00pm
⏰ U18 Girls – 1:15pm

A big thank you to Dunshaughlin BC for making the trip down and we look forward to welcoming players, coaches, parents and supporters to the hall.

Well done to our club players that were part of the Kilkenny and Southeast team that won the U17 inter provincials today, beating Kerry in the final!
