Qualified 2nd on Saturday

Went out in the top 16, oil pump locked up straight after my lead run with Saoirse. Gutting is an understatement as to how I felt.

Irish Drift Nationals may 16th & 17th at Tipperary Raceway 💨

The reigning Irish Drift Nationals Champion & holder of the Irish Drift Cup.

Davan Leahy Drifting #204 returns to Tipperary Raceway to defend his title.

One of Ireland’s leading up and coming drift drivers, Davan continues to establish himself as one of the brightest young talents in the sport.

In 2025, he was the driver of the event, becoming the first name etched into the Irish Drift Cup.

Although the start to his 2026 season hasn’t gone to plan, with a difficult opening round of the Irish Drift Series plagued by mechanical issues and an early exit, it’s a reminder that nothing in this sport comes easy.

Still, the pace is there, as he showed in 2025, where he looked almost unbeatable around the Tipperary oval.

Japfest 2026 done and dusted, lost the first half of the battle due to a tyre debead, i tried to keep going but unfortunately i was flagged. There was no putting off Daryl Barnet in my chase run 🫣
