Manortown were delighted to officially receive their FAI Club Mark One-Star Award at our Player of the Year awards ceremony yesterday. Rob DeCourcy of the FAI presented the award to Club Chairman, Joe Palmer.
This recognition reflects our ongoing commitment to best practice in the governance, management and administration of our football club and is a fantastic achievement for everyone involved.

What a fantastic afternoon celebrating the people who make our club so special.
Yesterday, we came together in the PME Community Centre to recognise our Players of the Year and celebrate all the hard work, commitment, progress and team spirit shown throughout the season. A huge congratulations to all our award winners - thoroughly deserved.
But more importantly, a massive thank you to every player, coach, volunteer, parent, sponsor and supporter who has played their part throughout the season. From the first whistle to the final game, it's the people around our club who make it more than just football - it's a community.
Here's to another season of memories, friendships, development and, of course, plenty of goals. Congratulations to all our winners.

The sun came out for our annual Michael Horgan Cup memorial tournament which took place on the 8-Acres over the weekend. Michael was an 8-year old Manortown player, who passed away in 2023 from cancer.
Thank you to the teams who participated alongside Manortown including Greenhills, Wayside, Rosemount Mulvey and Beechwood. Well done to tournament winners Rosemount Mulvey.
Thank you to all the volunteers on the day; to Deano's Wood Fire Pizza for providing pizza and drinks to all the players; to Shamrock Rovers and Active Sportswear for donating merchandise for selling on the day. All proceeds from the day went to the charity set up by Michael's parents, Conor and Anne, www.michaelsfanclub.ie.
