I wish I knew this stuff when I played.
Not just the theory. The actual practical use of it.
Testing isn't about a number for the sake of a number. It's about what that number tells you to actually do differently.
Say your left leg jumps noticeably weaker than your right.
That's not just a stat — it means I can push the weak side a bit harder in training and ease off the strong side, so both sides even out and you're less likely to pick up an injury from the imbalance.
Or — you get a similar training effect loading up single-leg work instead of a heavy back squat, for a fraction of the fatigue cost. Same benefit, easier to recover from.
That's what profiling actually gives you. Not numbers for the sake of numbers. Decisions.
