Congrats to Elia Viviani in the omnium event in the Rio Olympics. Evidently the work he put in this summer at Sundrive Velodrome has paid off. At least, that is the most obvious difference we can spot between the Italian's build-up to this event and that of silver medallist Mark Cavendinsh of Great Britain.

We stayed up late to watch the action.
His Wiggness blitzed it, the Brits owned it and really - how exciting was the men's team sprint final???
Ireland has an interest tomorrow night, when cycling's newest golden girl continues with her chase of some random punter called Ciaran.

**LEGACY PERFORMANCE ARRIVES**
I am proud to announce that after nearly 6 years trading as Total Fitness Solutions, we have reached a level of growth whereby we feel the need where a re-brand is required in order to keep with our clients’ needs and to expand our future business plans.

Over the last 6 years we have grown from a recession built up business to a membership that reached over 500 clients in our commercial gym at its peak. It was such a pleasure giving those members a gym that they could feel at home in and give them the help and knowledge that they wanted.

The level of support we received in Tuam and North Galway was incredible as we were starting our journey off in one of the most depressing recessions in Irish history.

I have to thank my Business partner Bernie Hynes for everything he has done for me in terms of being an excellent business mentor and giving me all his expertise in getting a startup business off the ground and helping it grow.

I also like to give a special word of thanks to his Daughter Sinead who played a massive part here guiding and directing how we organised our day to day running.

Everything we do here could not be possible without my awesome staff. Without their drive, passion and honesty Total Fitness Solutions would not be like it is. To Annie, Jason , Paul and Helena, I could never have got to this point without you. Also to Damien Burke our physio here, this guy kicked started me training so many years ago and through him I Have learned a majority of my ethos in strength and conditioning.

Thanks also to Iarlagh, Ann, Shauna, Jaime and Luke who all contributed massively over the last 6 years as well.

Plus a big thanks to Travis and Liv Jones from Results Based Training who have transformed my way of thinking in terms of coaching and giving to others.

In those 6 years we have coached thousands of people to super results, helped coached various Athletes to titles, worked with GAA teams that won Club titles and Intercounty titles. It’s been such a pleasure building up a trust and a growing reputation from helping all those people.

I have always loved Coaching. Whether that’s a beginner who has never lifted before, a 14 years old who wants to be a better footballer or surrounded by 30 guys on a training field helping them improve their skills and performance.

For that reason we will be Launching LEGACY PERFORMANCE at the end of the month. This training gym will allow us to spend more time coaching individuals, groups and to give as much knowledge and expertise as we can to our superb clients.

Finally I would like to thank my amazing wife Marian and my little son Noah for their patience and understanding and to both her family and my own family.

Phase one over. Now for Phase 2!
Brian.

Who's going up this weekend??
Should be a doozie!! Elia Viviani of Team Sky lit up the indoor worlds earlier this year, was consistently aggressive in the final of the Madison. He'll be there. Will you??

This is something we NEED to go see happen.
There'll probably be a glut of World Champions there, too, like last year. Anyone who thought (even fleetingly) of flying to the UK to watch Sir Wiggo's World Hour Record should ask serious questions of themselves if they don't rock out to this event.

Team Sky man Elia Viviani heads the Italian line-up and he’s part of a four-strong national squad that also features Simone Consonni,  Francesco Ceci an
