Congratulations to the Trim team of David Campbell, Mark Gibney, Paddy Kelly, Michael Corrigan, John Gilsenan and Danny Fitzpatrick who qualified for the finals of the National Inter Club Championship in Stackallen yesterday.

The finals take place in Lucan on the October Bank Holiday weekend.

⛳️⛳️ National Juvenile Matchplay ⛳️⛳️

Well done to all of the Trim players on Saturday in Athgarvan - Noah Dixon, Eoghan Duignan, Adam Daly and Tiernan Murphy.

After 18 holes to decide if they played in the championship or the plate the boys were seeded - Adam qualified for the championship and Noah, Eoghan & Tiernan entered the plate.

Adam who played well, unfortunately lost in his first championship match while Tiernan & Eoghan were drawn against each other with Tiernan going through.

Eventually both Noah and Tiernan would make the quarter finals where their run in this championship would come to an end.

It was brilliant for the boys to play so well and make it to the last match on Saturday. Well done to you all along with the parents for making the trip to Athgarvan in Kildare. The Pitch and Putt future is bright with these young stars.

Trim Pitch and Putt Club wish juvenile members Tiernan Murphy, Eoghan Duignan, Noah Dixon and Adam Daly the very best of luck this weekend as they take part in the National U-16 Matchplay Championships in Athgarvan Co. Kildare.

We hope you play well and enjoy the tournament.

Another good Meath performance today. The Meath Gents Senior team finished third in the Leinster inter county in Glenville (Tallaght).

The team was Tadgh Harrington (Rathfeigh), Sean Downes (Stackallen), Ian Farrelly (Laytown), Paul O’Rourke (Dunshaughlin), Evan Carry (Castletown) and Mark Gibney (Trim).

Another great result for Trim players - the Meath Ladies 2 team were Leinster Inter County Overall Nett Winners.

Trim players Margaret Conneely, Bridie Cummins and Paula Weldon were on the team.

Well done ladies, great day for club and county.
