Nine Darts Rule – After the captains have exchanged line-ups, all players not in the next game are not allowed to throw any more practice darts at the game board. All players in the next game are limited to three sets of practice throws, or nine darts, before the game starts.

4. The throwing line is to be 7’ 9 1/4 “ from the face of the board (not from the wall behind the board), and should be 3’ wide. Should a establishment have variables that make measurement(s) difficult the Bull to Toe line measurement is to be 9’ 7 3/8”. Dartboards must be standard boards, in good condition, and WELL LIGHTED. A scoreboard must be provided and located in such a position that it can be easily read by players and spectators. If there is a hard floor, a rug or dart mat should be placed between the board and the throwing line. There must be a practice board available to both teams for warm up before the match begins, and between games if possible. If the two boards are close together, only one board (the game board) may be in use during the match.
5. Match Starting Time – 9.00 pm is the league start time. If the visiting team is more than 30 minutes late (9.30pm), the home team has the option of calling a forfeit. , If the traveling team knows that they are going to be late, a phone call to the home teams bar is in order. Postponements of the starting time are the home team’s option. Away team Must Have a Minimum of 15 Minutes Practice time on match board, on their own, Prior to Match Commencing.
6. Players – A team should have 5 players at each match. If a team shows up with less than 5 players, they may pick up no more than 1 player who are NOT on their roster, to play in that match. These players need NOT go on their roster. No person may play more than twice in each night . Four players are NOT enough to play a match.
7. Forfeit – In the event of a forfeit, rosters must be signed by opposing captains.
8. Team forfeits – If a team forfeits 3 times, it will be dropped from the league. Teams that drop out will not be allowed to rejoin the league for the remainder of that year, or for the following year. All scores from the season will be erased.
9. Foot Faults – A player’s foot may not be over the line when he throws his darts. If this happens, a player loses the dart in hand and any remaining darts in that turn. A player may step over the line between throws to get a better look at the darts he has thrown.
10. Score Keeping – The home team supplies a scorekeeper. The visiting team may provide a caller. The scorer must not make distracting motions while a player is shooting. If a shooter requests it, the scorer must move out of the line of site until the darts are thrown. The shooter cannot pull his darts from the board until they have been scored. If there is a scoring error, it must be corrected before the team with the incorrect score throws again. If it is not corrected by that time, the score shall remain as written.
11. Bounce Out’s – A bounce out may not be re-thrown EVEN if the thrower catches the dart.
12. * Rosters – Each team must submit a roster of at 6 (six) players BEFORE the league starts. This is an open roster and changes can be made until 4 AM the friday of semi final matches. Pick up players need not be added to the roster unless they become full time players (see RULE 6)
13. Match play - The captain of each team is responsible for the smooth running of the match. Any dispute that arises during the course of play must be settled by the two captains’ in private conference.
14. Starting the Game – For the first game, the team captains will flip a coin, the winner of which elects the first bull shot. The lead off players then will each throw (one) dart at bull. The winning dart starts the match. If the first players dart is a bull, the second player can win by matching that shot. If the first player’s shot is a double bull, the second player must hit double bull to win. If neither player hits bull, the one who is closer to bull wins. A bounce out can be re-thrown. The bull shot is repeated to start each game, but not with the coin toss. Darts do not need to be with-in in the triple ring but must be on the board to count.
15. Game line Up – The captains must fill in the player’s names for each group of games, before that group of games start.
16. Eligibility – ANY PLAYER WHO IS NOT WELCOME IN ANY OF THE ESTABLIHMENT IN THIS LEAGUE IS NOT WELCOME IN THIS LEAGUE.
17. Food – Each establishment is expected to provide some food for the players.
18. League Dues – The cost of membership in the League is €150 per Team for the 2014-2015 season. PLAYOFF RULES
* A PLAYOFF ROSTER MUST BE SUBMITTED DURING THE OFF WEEK BEFORE THE PLAYOFFS START
1. * Playoff Eligibility – In order to play in the playoffs, a player must be on the team’s playoff roster, and must have played in at least 4 different matches. The captain from each team may be asked to provide proof that his/her players meet this requirement. It if for this reason that captains must sign each other’s score sheets during the season.
2. * Team Eligibility – The top 2 teams in each division qualify for the playoffs. If any 2 teams are tied, their match record against each other will be the tiebreaker followed by their total points against each other.
* Playoffs are single elimination in the first two rounds.
1st vs. 4th and 2nd vs. 3rd
