There’s a gentle stirring within and without …February opening with this auspicious alignment of Imbolc ( mid point between winter solstice and spring equinox ) and the Full Moon in Leo. Both bringing a warmth, a light, and a stirring into the Winter.

Imbolc marking this time when life begins to stir beneath the ground, while the Leo Full Moon shines a light on what wants to grow, be expressed, and be seen.Leo has a reputation for being playful, courageous, passionate and creative, while the fire of Imbolc is quieter , it’s the fire that needs tending to , it is the promise of what is yet to become .

Brigid is the goddess associated with this time and the sacred fire she bears . She governs healing , crafts , creativity , poetry , justice and fertility . Brigid’s fire is one of intention.She represents what is becoming , what has been nurtured in the dark and is gently being whispered into life . As an archetype she reminds us that creation requires time , patience , care , resilience and love .

Most grateful for this day in the kingdom , Brat Bhride gathered , tree’s topped to make way for the return of the light , doors flung open , candles lighting .

This is my New Year an afternoon of playing in the sand dunes and to then catch the Full Moon rise over the playground in Rossbeigh a reminder that Life is forever a playground .

A night by the fire, a creative yoga practice , intention setting and dreaming or should I go dancing ? It’s a balancing act always . My musings

Very intentional slow entrance into 2026 my body and soul attuning to nature’s rhythm . Most thankful for this freedom and privilege my life affords me . Constantly reminded that Yoga is not just something we do.
It’s how we breathe when life feels full,
how we soften instead of push,
how we return ,again and again to what matters.
Keeping it simple , love , kindness , connection and contributing to making this world a kinder place . And so thankful for each and every person who walks this path with me and created such lasting memories of the past year .

The magic that is Marrakech
For me I love the Medina , this wild mix of old and new and how both co exist .
There’s something amazingly liberating in the chaos of it all ….
If visiting at this time of year bring the layers and if staying in a Riad the old fashioned hot water bottle in the case is a game changer .
Most magical to experience it this time around as a family .

A week of stillness, yoga , and soft sunrises in Portugal 🌙💛
My heart is full for this beautiful circle of women and all that we harvested together.
You were dreamy 💃💛
We came to Portugal to rest, to listen, to remember and in the stillness we found laughter, sisterhood, and a thousand tiny moments of magic.
So much gratitude to the beautiful beings who made this Harvesting Stillness retreat a radiant weave of the sacred and the joyful. 💛🌙
