A brilliant run by Jack Collins last weekend as he raced at the Loughborough Grand Prix in Birmingham last Saturday evening, not only taking the win in a blistering new PB of 1.51.24 but with it securing the required second performance standard time for the European u18 Athletics Championships in Rieti this summer. Team announcement will not be made until the start of July but Jack has put himself in a great position to hopefully make the trip to Italy this year.

Well done to all our Tralee Harriers athletes who competed in the Munster U14–U19 Track & Field Championships this weekend at MTU Cork.

While the sunshine was welcome, athletes also had to contend with some very challenging winds throughout the weekend. Despite this, our athletes produced a host of excellent performances, medals, personal bests and National Championship qualifications.

What a fantastic way to finish our outdoor season for our U9–U11 athletes! 🍦🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

It was wonderful to see so many smiling faces enjoying a fun-filled final session tonight, packed with games, laughter, and plenty of ice cream!

A huge well done to all of our young athletes on a fantastic season of training and competition. Your enthusiasm, commitment, and progress throughout the year have been a pleasure to watch, and you have been a joy to coach.

A sincere thank you to all our parents for your encouragement, support, and for entrusting your children to us each week. We are also incredibly grateful to our fantastic coaching team for their time, energy, and dedication throughout the season.

We hope everyone has a wonderful summer and look forward to welcoming you back for cross-country season.

A fantastic weekend for our athletes at the Munster Championships in MTU Cork. Competing in challenging conditions with strong headwinds and heavy rain, our athletes showed great determination and delivered some excellent performances.
