In response to a growing demand locally for the establishment of organised participation in the sport of association football Holycross Football Club was founded in 1992 and affiliated to the North Tipperary & District League. Soon afterwards a juvenile section was added and registered with the North Tipperary Schoolchildren’s League. The club have recently affiliated with the Women’s Football Ass

ociation of Ireland in response to an enthusiastic demand for participation and competition among ladies and juvenile girls.
