Terryglass Angling & Conservation Club Terryglass Angling & Conservation Club was originally established in 1968 located on Lough Derg in C Contact us for further details.

Terryglass Angling & Conservation Club is for members of all ages and we have attractive membership rates per year of €20 for adults, €10 for Juniors, and €40 for a family 2 Adults +3 children. This includes full insurance for competitions and when fishing for pleasure on holidays or abroad. Attractive rates also available for boat insurance through the club.

The idea of pumping millions of litres of Shannon water into Dublins leaking ancient water pipes where half of it will be wasted leaking into Dublins subsoil is absured! There are so many alternatives that have never been investigated!! Please sign to "Save our Shannon"

2025 season Trout competition for the John Egan (RIP) Annual Trophy Competition.
Overall winner was Brendan Sharkey with a 39cm Lough Derg Trout. Here being presented the John Egan Memorial Trophy by Dawn Egan Johns Daughter. Well done to all who took part.

Congratulations to Mark Harding who won the 3 day St Patrick's Weekend trout Angling competition with a fine 51.5cm fish. Aiden Murray came 2nd with a 50cm fine fish. Many thanks to Maureen Kenny of Palmerston Stores, Garry Kenny Portumna for sponsorship vouchers. Also Derg Inn Terryglass for the Apres Angling refreshments!
