The following players have been selected to represent Ireland in the British Bowls International Series to be held at Northfield, Ayr, Scotland from Thursday 25th June – Sunday 28th June.

A massive congratulations to our ILB inter-association team who won their tournament over the weekend!!

An outstanding achievement for bowls in Ireland. Well done to everyone involved, especially our CY lads. The club is extremely proud of you all 💜💚

⭐PREMIER RINKS FINALS DAY⭐

What can we say, what an absolutely brilliant week of bowling we seen at Terenure sports club this past week. 24 teams, 96 players from clubs all around, and yesterday we were left with only 1.

Two excellent semi finals took place with Keith McCarthy's and Nick Smyth's coming out on top and claiming their place in the final later that day, and what a final it was.

A game where both sides wouldn't let the other side breath, with one shot being the lead most of the time, then it being all square. Nicky Smyth's rink would show their experience, as they went down a shot in the closing ends but they kept their cool and their experience, and quality came through to turn it around and end up winning by two shots after the last end!

An excellent end to an excellent game, capping off an outstanding week for Irish bowls.

🔊THIS WEEKS FIXTURES🔊

Despite the hustle and bustle of the Premier rinks happening this week, there are in fact 3 league games taking place this Saturday for CYM, with 2 games in the club itself.

Our Division 1 team kick of proceedings at 11am, with a home league game vs North Kildare. We will be hoping to follow up the excellent IBA cup win from last week.

Our Premier division side will then play host to Bray at 2.30pm. The premier division team have started their league campaign excellently this far, and will be looking to bounce back from last week's IBA cup result.

Our Division 3 side travel over to Aer Lingus for an earlier than usual start time of 10.30am. We will be looking to build on a great victory over Dun Laoghaire from 2 weeks ago.

After a fantastic opening few rounds filled with quality performances and close contests, the quarter finals are now locked in — and every player left will believe they have a real shot at lifting the title on Finals Day.

🏆 Premier Rinks 2026 – Round 2 Begins Tonight! 🏆

An excellent opening round of matches has brought us down to the final 16 as the competition continues this evening at Terenure Sports Club 💜💚

The standard has already been incredibly high, with some fantastic bowling on display across the opening fixtures, and now the intensity steps up another level as players battle for places in Thursday’s quarter-finals.
