📅 Tuesday evening Scramble📅

Our weekly Summer Scramble competitions return tomorrow June 16th. Times for the scramble will be registration up to 6.45pm and play commencing at 7pm. Juveniles will be free and adults will be €5 each week.

We are also asking that any games that are outstanding in the credit union matchplay be played as soon as possible in order to finalise our semi finals and finals on both sections

Well done to Elaine Quinn who claimed the Tipperary Intermediate Ladies Strokeplay championship played today in Riverdale Pitch & Putt Club Nenagh.Elaine had a very good score of +3 for the 36 hole event.
Well done also to Mary Quinn who was second to Elaine in the Intermediate Ladies and to Robert Ryan who was runner up in the Intermediate Gents event and to all our players who participated on the day.⛳️⛳️⛳️

📅 Scramble Update📅

Weather permitting tomorrow evening the 2nd of June we will have our scramble back. Just a reminder that our 2 week window for non players to play in our scramble has passed meaning only our adult and juvenile members will be permitted to take part. The entry stays the same with 5 euro per adult and free for juveniles. Registration from 6.45 with play to start at 7

Hard luck to Sean Mccormack who was beaten in the quarter final of the Intermediate National Matchplay yesterday afternoon in Bishopstown.
Elaine Quinn had better luck as she won her two games convincingly to progress to the semi final of the Ladies Intermediate National Matchplay which takes place in Ranges pitch and putt at 10.05 this morning.Very best of luck to Elaine from all at Lakeside Pitch & Putt Club Templemore.
Well done to our other two competitors Michael Fennell and Noel Stapleton who bowed out of the competition on Saturday. ⛳️⛳️⛳️

All at Lakeside would like to wish our players representing the club in the National Matchplay this weekend the very best of luck.
In the Senior Grade taking place in Rocklodge PnP we have Michael Fennell and Noel Stapleton.The Intermediate Gents start off in Bishopstown Pitch & Putt Club where Sean Mccormack will play and in the Intermediate Ladies grade in Ranges pitch and putt we have Elaine Quinn playing.

Well done to our players who qualified for the National Matchplay finals today.In the Senior grade we had Michael Fennell and Noel Stapleton who comfortably qualified in Larkspur Park Pitch and Putt Club and in the Intermediate grade we had Sean Mccormack who also qualified comfortably in Riverdale Pitch & Putt Club .Best of luck to all three players in the finals in a few weeks time ⛳️⛳️⛳️

Our next Summer Scramble will be on May 14th. Times for the scramble will be registration up to 6.45pm and play commencing at 7pm. Juveniles will be free and adults will be €5 each week.

The competition on May 14th will be open to all including juveniles,
beginners and non-members. We encourage you to come along, enjoy the relaxed scramble format and get familiar with the rules of the game in a fun environment

From Thursday, May 21st onwards, the Scramble competitions will be open to members only.

Unfortunately it wasn't to be for both our players involved in the Munster Matchplay finals in Fermoy today.Elaine Quinn was beaten in her semi final against Lisa O'connor who played very well.
Sean Mccormack played very well in his semi final where he beat local player Ryan Sexton.In the final he played Michael Cronin from the Deerpark club in Killarney.Sean also played very well in a great game that was nip and tuck all the way and they couldn't be separated after 36 holes finishing all square.
On to the dreaded sudden death play off where Sean missed his birdie putt and Michael rolled his in from 8 feet.Very unlucky to lose a game like that but as they say if you stay knocking on the door it will eventually open.Great performance Sean so stay knocking.
Well done to both players today and our other players on representing the club over the weekend.
Also a special mention to the St Stephens Pitch & Putt Club and Fermoy GAA Pitch & Putt Club on their hospitality and the presentation of their courses,they were both superb.Well done to everyone involved ⛳️⛳️⛳️
