Longford Westmeath Tai chi Club Train in Qi gong 8 step yang short form and 24 Step Peking Yang Style Tai Chi the most Popular Tai Chi form in the World. The Club Head Instructor is Pat McHale. We belong to the Chinese Martial Art Association. Instructor Pat McHale has many years Martial Arts training in several styles he studied Zenshin Goju Karate under Sensei Jon Alexander before being convinced by Sensei Alexander to take up Tai chi. When Jon Alexander retired from teaching Pat began Training with a new Tai chi Master Sifu Kathy McNamara of Solais Tai chi in Derry.

Friend, Training Partner and senior member Seamus Coakley has over 3 Decades Martial Arts experience in Karate, Kickboxing and Weapons. he holds a Blackbelt in Zenshin Goju Karate and Blacksash in Chin Na Self defence. along with Pat McHale he also now studies Tai Chi and Chin Na Self Defence.
