Every once in a while, we hear a story about a family member, a friend, that breaks your heart, and as an organization, we knew we had to step in. This is Bowie's story.
Bowie was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia, a type of cancer that affects the white blood cells in the bone marrow. The treatment plan for this type of cancer involves chemotherapy, and Bowie is receiving the highest form of it. She has a long road to recovery ahead, with a current treatment plan of two and a half years to ensure she beats this disease and lives a happy and healthy life.
We are proud to do what we can to help this child in need and her family on their road to recovery. We are hosting a Charity 11-a-side football match, with all proceeds going toward a fund in aid of Bowie and Crumlin Children's Hospital. We are planning to have many activities throughout the day for the whole family, so we would greatly appreciate as many people as possible coming down and lending their support to this cause on that day.
We will also leave a donation link below so that if you can donate anything, it would be greatly appreciated by everyone involved.
All the details about the Charity Football match, including when and where it will be held, are provided above. If you have any questions, please feel free to comment or DM us for more information.
