So proud of these guys! We started out a bit bumpy but seemed to get into our groove as the day went on at the Galway Blitz last Saturday. I want to especially thank José and Alan for only attending one or two trainings and then being thrown in the deep-end for an all-day blitz. You guys did GREAT! Lots of things were learned and lots of fun was had.

We are taking a full Mayo Madres team to the Galway Blitz tomorrow (6 June 2026), so there will be no training in Swinford this weekend.

Freezed the plays to see where everyone was covering, to compliment good coverage, and to work on backing up. Saw lots of quick improvement amongst the players. Great work, guys!

We had our first left-hander at training last weekend. Thank you so much to Softball Connacht Munster for getting left-hander's gloves in Mayo Softball's kit bag! Uwa Johnson loved showing it off. Haha. Love the positive attitude and excitement.
