Strokestown United was delighted to host an U11s girls blitz recently. 13 clubs from the league featured at the blitz with some fantastic goals scored and skills on display. 👏👏

Strokestown Utd want to wish the very best of luck to our very own captain fantastic Senan Burke who is taking part in the Kennedy Cup in Limerick this week as vice captain of the Roscommon team. 🙌

It’s a fantastic achievement for a remarkable young man and Strokestown Utd are very proud to be part of this journey.

We would also like to congratulate our very own Sheena Kelly who was part of the Longford team who narrowly lost out to Kilkenny in the Trophy Final. Sheena scored the vital goal in the semifinal to get her team to the final. 👏👏

Strokestown United was delighted to welcome former player and current coach, Danny Manning to the club with his new venture 1000th Word Photography

Danny popped down to a couple of recent training sessions and matches and showed his incredible eye for detail and ability to capture the moment, goals, saves, celebrations and everything between! ⚽️ 🥅

Much like his playing career, you wouldn’t even have noticed he was on the pitch 😜

Tomorrow, our U13 boys indoor soccer team hit the road to the Cairn Community Games National Finals in Kenagh, Co. Longford representing Roscommon Community Games. They face a semi-final against Clare at 11.30am. Best of luck boys 🖤💛💙💛

We kicked off the 2025 season this week, with many of our groups returning to training and playing matches.

Our U9s boys and girls started their season with a 3vs3 fun day. Incredible set up from 3v3 Ireland, with all players having a great run out with plenty of goals and super skills on display.

…and the weather was an added bonus!! ☀️ ☀️

Great start to the season, thanks to all players, coaches, friends, siblings, parents and guardians who helped out on the day!
