Rephrasing from negative to positive...
I get up before 6am every morning before to walk the pup. It took me a long time to do this as routine but by rephrasing the negatives to positives it has really helped me to build this practice into my routine.
I still have mornings where it's really tough to get up but then sometimes you get rewarded with mornings like these. (Usually it rains because let's face it, it's Ireland ๐)
By taking it one negative thought at a time and reframing it towards a positive who knows what you might achieve.
Negative thought: I have to get up, don't want to etc etc
Reframe: I get to get up when millions everywhere don't get to!
Positive: I want to get up. I want to get my steps in, I want to get fresh air, I want to spend time with my doggy etc etc
There could be 1000 steps in between!
Why don't you try it in your own life; with your self image, self talk, people around you, work, kids etc and see how the world looks even marginally different and more positive ๐คฏ
