✨ TATTS 2026 – What a Weekend! ✨🐴
After months of anticipation, 26 KHPC members and their families packed up and headed to Tatts for what really is the Best Weekend of the Year! 🤍🤍
After a very cold and damp Friday night camping, the competition got underway with dressage in the sunshine on Saturday morning. ☀️👏
🏆 FANTASTIC RESULTS! 👏👏
There were lots of very respectable KHPC dressage scores across all the arenas. In particular:
🥇 Gloria Q. and Nia W. placed 1st in their arenas. 👏👏
🥉 Grace A. and Sadhbh W. placed 3rd in their arenas after Day 1 — and it was Sadhbh’s first ever Eventing Championships! 👏👏
🏆 Our Intermediate Team of Hogan Byrne, Evie Holohan, Gloria Queally and Eliza Wardell did something only 5 other KHPC Intermediate Teams have achieved in the past 30 years — they won the IHTS Trophy! 🎉👏👏
Not only that, but after winning and coming second in their arena, Eliza 1st and Gloria 2nd have also qualified to represent the Irish Pony Club Intermediate Team at the Chairman’s Cup at Osberton International 3 Day Event in the UK this October! 🇬🇧👏👏👏
We are SO proud of their achievement and couldn’t be happier for all the connections! 🤍🤍⭐️
🌟 JUNIOR RESULTS 👏
🏆 Nia W. finished on her great dressage score and won her arena. 👏👏
👏 Harry H. and Emilie H. placed 4th and 6th respectively in the Intro Juniors. 👏👏
🌟 UNDER 12’S 👏
🥇 Serena M., also competing at her first Eventing Champs, placed 5th in her arena. 👏👏
🏆 The team of Adele G., Serena M., Gemma W. & Sadhbh W. finished a brilliant 4th out of 19 teams, which in itself speaks volumes for how well they did! 👏
A huge congratulations to all our other members who rode in Tatts and represented the club with such pride. We’re so proud of everyone who took part, and we’re sure they gained wonderful experience from the event. We can’t wait to see them back competing again next year! 👏👏👏
But, as always, the weekend is about so much more than the riding. It’s about catching up with old friends, making new ones, having fun and plenty of banter — and there certainly was plenty of that, with both kids and parents! 🤍👏
