Every Genesis member and coach (Junior and Senior) must have a valid Hockey Ireland Membership for the 2026/2027 Season 🏑

If you do not have a valid HI Membership, you will not be on the system and therefore ineligible to play ❌

This is a once of purchase that must be renewed EVERY season.

Please renew or sign up asap 🙏

We’re Hiring! Coach Needed at Genesis Hockey Club.

We’re a fast growing, inclusive club with over 600 members, including 360 families, 6 adult teams, and 15+ youth teams.

As our club continues to expand, we’re looking for a dedicated coach who’s ready to get stuck in and make a real impact with our Senior teams.

Who You Are:
*Hold a minimum of a Level 1 coaching qualification
*Completed Safegaurding Level 1
*Garda Vetted and eligible to work in the EU

⛳️ What a day! ☀️

A huge thank you to everyone in the Genesis Golf Society who joined us for our scramble at Newlands Golf Club. From the first tee to the final putt, it was a fantastic day filled with great golf, plenty of laughs, gorgeous sunshine, and even better company ☺️.

Congratulations to all of our competition winners! Thank you to Hilary Walsh, Elaine Anthony & Grainne Friel for the organising of the event and helping make the day such a success. It was the perfect way to round things off with coffee, lunch, and some fantastic prizes.

We’re already looking forward to the next one! If you’re a current or past Genesis member and would like to get involved in future social events, we’d love to have you. Send us a DM and we’ll make sure you don’t miss out! ❤️🏑⛳️

A message from our Ladies 2nds coach, Chris Larkin 🙌

“Hockey has been a huge part of my life, both as a player and a coach. I currently play with Railway Union Hockey Club, where I’ve continued to develop my understanding of the game while competing at a senior level.

Alongside playing, I’ve been coaching within the Genesis junior section, working with players across a range of age groups. For the past two seasons, I’ve coached the Genesis U20s, and together we’ve achieved back-to-back promotions. Those experiences have reinforced my passion for developing players, building a strong team culture, and creating an environment where everyone can grow and enjoy their hockey.

I’m excited to take on the role of Head Coach of the Ladies 2s this season and look forward to helping the squad continue to develop, compete, and achieve our goals together”
