Hey everyone, we had a great class and gradings last night. A big thank you to Sifu Michael O’Leary for coming down from Dublin to lead the class and carry out the gradings.

Hey everyone, we had a great BJJ and Wingtsun class last night!

Big congrats to Keith Stewart on passing his second student grade. He was supposed to grade two weeks ago with everyone else, but couldn't make it, so well done!

We had the pleasure of welcoming guests from a Wingtsun school in Galway. It was fantastic to connect with Seamus and Martin and we’re looking forward to more opportunities to train with them in the future!

And to top it all off, we celebrated Petr's birthday. It was a busy but rewarding class!

Hey everyone! Thursdays BJJ and Wing Tsun classes were brilliant! It's always great to see everyone putting in the hard work and making progress.

On another note, I want to take a moment to wish Paolo all the best as he leaves Ireland to go to Italy. Paolo, your friendly demeanor, dedication and positive energy will be missed in our classes. Safe travels and best wishes from all of us!

Hey everyone! We had a great class last night. We focused on using eccentric tension with a lap sau grab to counter fast, hard jabs. We also covered a second lap sau grab for when the attacker defends with their back hand. We wrapped up with some pressure testing. Beginners, feel free to join us anytime. See you all next week!

Hey everyone! We had another great class last night! We looked the 2nd law of motion and the importance of acceleration in generating force, then we explored the b**g sau and how to use it when our hand gets pushed down across our body. Finally, we wrapped up with some pressure testing!

Just a heads up, the Avalon Centre will be closed for holidays for the next 2 weeks ,but that won't stop us! I'll still be there on the 3rd and 10th of Aug, and we'll find an alternative spot to train. We'll be back at the Avalon as usual from the 17th. See you all next week!
