The last photos of the Dutch guys who left this morning early, great fun the whole week and always up to something 🤣
They loved the smaller lakes so I brought & collected them each day after a days fishing 🎣 Only on the last day they had some rain but nothing serious!
They told me that they would come back, but nobody asked me 🤷‍♂️🤣🎣🇮🇪🍀

Collected the Dutch guys from a smaller lake their favorite lake but, also their last day so we had to say goodbye in style 🎶
They had a great day again photos will follow later 🎣🇮🇪🤣
Safe trip home tomorrow guys and we will meet again that’s for sure 🫶🎣🇮🇪🤟

The Swiss guys on there last day decided to fish for trout but that’s a different cookie 🍪 The perch was faster than the trout I suppose 🤪 But they had a great day with perch 30+ cm even when that was not the plan 🤷‍♂️ In the evening a great last meal together with some fun 🤩

TODAY ON THE SAME LAKE 🇮🇪🎣☘️
*On the left Jeroen & Pierre from the Netherlands have their overnights in a B&B and I bring them to any lake around me, that's what they love so they told me.
*On the right Markus & Daniel from Switzerland they stay in a self caterings house on the shores of a lake, I brough a boat to their private jetty, 30 seconds walk only!
TODAY IT'S PIKE WEATHER, still tropical but with a great breeze, drifting bag needed and with that one out you are in heaven!
Let's see what the results are after this day. 🤞🇮🇪🎣☘️

Yesterday it was already bloody hot in tropical Ireland 🥵 but we still got some nice ones 🎣🇮🇪
Today even hotter and the lake was like a mirror, but we hoped for the best “the surprise catch”…..but we got the finger 🖕.
Tomorrow a little bit better weather wise but that’s the weather forecast telling us 🙏 🙏 🙏

TWO BOATS OUT FOR A WEEK 🎣
Yesterday: first day of Daniel & Markus, Daniel had a good fight with a huge mamma, still unbelievable that a pike like that can jump completely out of the water and bend the hooks out and said… goodbye😢 All part of it but when it is difficult you want that day saver 🤬😖😢
Today: first day of Jeroen and Pierre on a tropical day so sunscreen necessary. Blue sky no wind no pike they say, going to be tough day for them 🤷‍♂️ 🌞 🍹
But like they say “it can happen in a eye blink” 🙏 🤞☘️🇮🇪 blink blink blink 😀

JOB DONE 🎣🇮🇪💪
After a lazy year with testing and discovering lakes, self-catering houses & b&b’s in my new area the first fishermen left happy 😃
They fished first 5 days on Lough Derg (nothing to do with me) and 3 days in county Sligo a 3 hours drive from Derg. They arrived a little bit disappointed so let’s kick ass 💪

We fished on 3 different lakes just to show them the possibilities, below a few photos.

In short; they caught more pike in the 3 days here and bigger ones as well (meter++) so mission accomplished 🎣🇮🇪💪🔥☘️
They made a booking for October already!

Coming weeks/months more boat fishing holidays on the way, also a few pike fly fishermen for the belly boat fishing on the lakes around me😀🎣🫶
