Jim Walsh Cork Forestry ❌️

Unfortunate end to our Jim Walsh event last weekend. We held a good position after the first 3 stages ending the loop 4th just outside a podium spot. To stage 4 where we went quickest J1000 by 2.3 seconds to narrow the gap to 3rd.

Unfortunately our rally ended on the finish line of stage 5 after we got caught out on some loose gravel on entry and ended up having a sudden stop accident. Myself and Conor thankfully escaped unhurt but the car is a different story.

Thanks to the marshals that helped and got the car back on its wheels, not the way we wanted to end the day after showing the pace we have when things go right but that's Rallying

All set for the Jim Walsh Cork Forest Rally Round 3 of the Trailer Parts & Spares Irish Forest Rally Championship in the morning 🌲🏁

4 very fast and Committed stages are ahead of us tomorrow. Hopefully we can get a good run out on some great stages and see if we can battle for top honours and get out Championship back on track.

Double header this weekend 😎🔜

Busy weekend ahead for us with Rnd 7 of the MIJRS.ie - MI Junior Rally Series with the Imokilly Forest rallysprint on Saturday and back home for our local Connacht Motorclub Hillclimb on Sunday 🏁

Hoping to bounce back from a disappointing Moonraker earlier in the year and get our Championship back on track. Looking forward to our local Hillclimb as we know we have the pace to complete and hopefully get some silverware from the weekend 🤞💪

Moonraker Forest Rally ❌️

No luck in cork today at the Moonraker Forest Rally 🤦‍♂️

We were having a decent run on stage 1 this morning till a broken Driveshaft over a bump 2k into the stage causing us to miss the opening loop of the day after the damage sustained.

Then we reset in service after getting a new shaft fitted hoping to get out and put a few decent times up before our bad luck struck again, half way through Stage 4 the driver side Driveshaft broke coming out of a junction.

Hard to take but thats how it goes unfortunately, now time to reset and go again.

🥇 J1000 and Mijrs yesterday at Limerick hillclimb ✅️

Delighted to take my first Mijrs win yesterday in Limerick. The win secures max points in the championship for us so this is exactly what we wanted heading to Limerick.

After a tight days racing with the lads we also won the J1000 class on the last run getting the quickest time of the weekend.

Thanks to Dad for sitting in and to Pat for helping throughout the day and to the girls for all their help , and to Brian for Sponsorsing us our fuel for the weekend 🫡

Now onto the Moonraker in a couple of weeks so now time to get the prep work started 💪
