One from Abbey United History books in 1994 Abbey United youths were granted a civil meeting with the Mayor of Sligo Tony McLoughlin after winning nearly all the underage leagues that season. Tag who you recognise and are you able to name them all?

Abbey U11s Girls Premier Cup winners 2026 🥳🥳
Well done to our u11 girls who took part in the Sligo Leitrim Schoolboys & Schoolgirls League -PRO inaugural u11s tournament over the weekend. They played against some really good teams over the weekend and came out the winners of the Premier Cup. It was great to see everyone enjoying themselves, Abbey United would like to thank the organisers, the SLY league, and all who came out to support. ⚽️ Wishing the best of luck to our Girls' Soccer Team who represent Sligo in the Large Schools' Section of the FAI 5 a side competition in Castlebar this Wednesday⚽️

We are very proud of Ashley, Delilah, Elena, Esmée, Jocelyn, Lacey May, Lottie and Matilda. With Delilah unfortunately injured, we are grateful to Kensie for joining the panel. The girls will play the winners of the FAI 5 a side competition in each of the other Connacht counties- Galway, Leitrim, Mayo and Roscommon, with the winner progressing to the National Finals.

Congratulations to Darragh McMorrow and Jayce Murray who won the Connaught finals u13s Futsal Community Games with CSA. It was quite the display well done to all the lads they were all outstanding. Congrats to all the lads and coaches. Best of luck in the All Ireland finals should be no bother to you after that display.
