'A' Hike – Glencorbet Circuit ⛰️🥾

A fantastic day out for the A Hike group on the Glencorbet Circuit, covering the route in around 8 hours. The sun eventually broke through the clouds, revealing the stunning mountain scenery and rewarding all the effort with some spectacular views. ☀️

The group made their way from King’s Gully to the Cross before heading to the Dam for a well-earned lunch break. With perfect blue skies overhead and great company along the way, it really was the ideal day for a hike. 🥾💙

A great day out on the hills with good company, fresh mountain air, and some lovely views over Sligo. From rugged trails to a well-earned lunch stop, this was a rewarding day on the Ballygawley Hills.

A bit of friendly rivalry on the hills yesterday between the B+ and C hike groups! ⛰️🌬️

While the B+ hike took on the longer distance — covering Eagles Rock, Crumpaun, Truskmore and Tievebaun — the C hike certainly made their mark too, tackling Bog Road, Truskmore and Doonies, and somehow managing to gain more total elevation! 👏

It was an extremely windy day out there, with the elements making themselves well known… so much so that a green cap was sadly lost to the winds and has likely begun a new life somewhere on the mountain! 🍃🧢😂

A great day’s hiking all round, with strong climbs, great company, and just the right bit of competitive spirit between the groups!
