We are so sad to share the passing of our very dear club member Martin Malone. Martin was an integral part of our club and it is hard to put into words the impact he had. He welcomed new members with open arms and was always up for a chat! He was a consistent swimmer for many years and was such a safe presence in the water. He got a new lease of life on his electric bike and loved passing people out on the hills! A fantastic family man who swam regularly with his children and a great role model to his grandchildren. Martin was always happy to help at our triathlon in any way and as a former Garda was a great man to look after traffic on a junction. He will be sorely missed by us all and will live long in all our memories. Our thoughts are with Susan, Damien, Aisling, Fiona and Suzanne at this sad time.
