Be part of our St Patrick's Day Parade with Skerries Cycling Initiative
Our theme for this year’s St. Patrick's Day Parade is "Cycling is Fun" and we invite people of all ages and backgrounds to wheel, walk and sing along behind the Skerries Cycling Initiative banner.

☘ Meet 2.30 P.M. at South Strand on 17 March ☘
We don't know where exactly in the running order we will be.. you'll know us by the bikes!

Let’s have people dressed colourfully (including green but not just green) and colourful wheeled machines to create a spectacle showing how people love cycling around our town. Let’s have placards/signs saying “Cycling is Fun” in the languages we hear people speaking in Skerries.
It will be all about the joy and freedom of cycling and saying this in all the languages that are alive in Skerries.

Here's the Chant (which we hope every SCI parade biker will chant out loud and strong, especially at the 'Viewing Stand' at the end of the parade where we will all BUNCH UP in front of the official dignitaries!

1, 2, 3, 4.
Cycle fun for-ev-er more.
5, 6, 7, 8.
On your bike and you-'ll feel great!

Also, we will have fun / circus music played loudly through our mobile PA speaker system. No need to know the words,
just enjoy
