Well done to Eric Purcell on winning Alan Murphy's President's Prize yesterday in Portumna Golf Club. Eric played great golf on the day and was a clear winner. Other prize winners were 2nd Adam Breen, 3rd Daire Bucke, 4th Ed Crowe, Front 9 Adam Merriman, Back 9 Ian Mulready, Nearest the Pin Daire Bucke, Longest Drive Joe Murphy, Guest Prize Jack Gleeson and the Par 3's was won by Pat Kearney.
Well done all and thanks to the Greyhound Bar Sixmilebridge for sponsoring the outing.

SMB Golf Society President's Prize (Alan Murphy) took place in Portumna Golf Club yesterday. The course was in superb condition and the weather was good overall, just a couple of showers on the day to cool down the golfers during the round.

The next SMB Golf Society Outing is Alan Murphy's President's Prize and it takes place this weekend in Portumna Golf Club. The Outing is kindly sponsored by Greyhound Bar Sixmilebridge and the prizes will be presented there on Saturday night from 9pm.

The Odds for the winner are out and creating a bit of discussion about the favourites for the title this weekend.

Rumours are circulating that we could have a late entry to the Outing as our sponsor Jack Gleeson is being added to the line up. Betting is suspended until further notice😉.

The winner of the SMB Golf Society Outing at Woodstock Golf Club Dave Watson received his prize recently from Captain Colin Murphy. This was Dave's first win with the society 👏👏.

Well done to Eamon Healy on the winning the SMB Golf Society Outing at East Clare Golf Club yesterday. Eamon played great golf on the day in superb conditions and was a clear winner on the day. Other prize winners were 2nd Dave Watson, 3rd Vinny Purcell, 4th Fergal Kennedy, front 9 John Collins,Back 9 David Purcell and the Par 3 winner was Pat Kearney. Well done all ⛳️

Congratulations to John Chaplin who won Colin Murphy's SMB Golf Society Captain's Prize Outing in Nenagh Golf Club yesterday. Johh played great golf on the day and won with a few shots to spare.

Other prize winners were 2nd Colin Murphy, 3rd Conor Collins, 4th Eric Purcell, front 9Ed Crowe, Back 9 Adam Merriman, Par 3 Adam Breen, Nearest the Pin Adam Breen, Longest Drive Eric Purcell and Guest Prize Paul English.

Thanks to DJ Whitty for sponsoring the Outing and the prizes were presented in Gillys Bar, Sixmilebridge last night. Well done to all our winnners and for all who took part in the Outing.
