Located on a most picturesque and tranquil lane, Shankill Tennis Club is anything but quiet - it is buzzing with tennis enthusiasts of all ages and abilities. This community based club offers you:

A great place to play tennis with a warm and welcoming atmosphere

A thriving and growing Junior section

Continual club development - new clubhouse built in 2008, new Tiger Turf court resurfacing in 2010

Detailed plans for future Indoor Tennis Centre starting 2015. Membership is great value and the club is now open for new members

Non-members are very welcome to play and avail of coaching - simply phone the club to book a court

We have grown over the past 25 years both through the hard work and contribution of members of the club and strong support from Dún Laoghaire Rathdown County Council and funding from the National Lottery through the Department of Tourism, Culture and Sport.

The Shankill TC Red Ball team recently attended a Red Ball Event hosted by Glenageary TC. U8 players came from Glenageary, Shankill and Sandycove to play some Doubles Tie Break 10’s and had a great time. Our Red Ball warriors played some fantastic tennis and picked up some doubles tips from Paul Casey himself 🤩!

Thank you to Tennis Ireland, Glenageary TC & coach Paul Casey for hosting it. Thanks to our coach Arek Gladys for preparing our players and finally a big thank you to all the volunteers and parents for their support with the event.
