The wait is finally over. We can't wait to welcome you all tomorrow & Sunday.
Shankill FC Panthers returns for the 2026/27 season on Saturday and Sunday, September 12th and 13th. We’re looking forward to welcoming both new and returning young players.

Designed for boys and girls aged 4 to 6, Panthers provides a fun, positive and encouraging introduction to football. Children can enjoy being active, build confidence, develop their coordination and football skills, and make new friends.

📅 Returns: Saturday and Sunday, September 12th and 13th
⏰ Time: 10:00am–11:00am
📍 Venue: Shanganagh Park Astro
👧👦 Ages: 4–6
⚽ Sessions: Every Saturday and Sunday

WHAT AN INCREDIBLE TWO WEEKS! ⚽🏆💚🖤
The final whistle has sounded on the Shankill FC Champions League 2026 — our biggest tournament ever.

More than 700 boys and girls filled Shanganagh Park with energy, excitement and smiles across two unforgettable weeks of sunshine.

There was brilliant football, fantastic goals, superb saves, dramatic finishes, extra time, penalty shoot outs and plenty of thrills and spills. Most importantly, the children had great fun, enjoyed being part of their teams, made new friends and created memories that will last a lifetime.

This year also marked a very special milestone with the introduction of our first-ever dedicated girls-only section. It was a huge success and an important step forward in the continued growth of girls’ football at Shankill FC.

Trophies were proudly lifted, medals were worn with huge smiles and every child who took part was a winner. Each player helped make the tournament the incredible success it was.

A huge thank-you to our committee members and volunteers, who gave countless hours to planning, organising and running the event. We also sincerely thank all our coaches, managers, referees and sponsors, whose support and commitment helped make the tournament possible.

Thank you as well to every parent, family member and supporter who brought such a positive atmosphere to Shanganagh Park throughout the two weeks.

Most of all, thank you to the 700-plus boys and girls who made the Shankill FC Champions League 2026 so special.

Our biggest tournament yet. Thousands of memories made. One incredible football community.

The Champions League may be over for another year, but children can continue enjoying the Shankill FC football experience every week as part of our Panthers Academy & Girls Academy.

What a great start to Week 2 as the Champions League Academy section burst back into action with the same energy, excitement, and quality the kids have been showing since Day 1. The football was sharp, the goals were flowing, and every pitch had that brilliant buzz that only this tournament brings. You could feel the confidence growing, the teamwork strengthening, and the momentum building as we head into another packed week of games.

Happy Father’s Day from Shankill FC 💚🖤

Wishing a very Happy Father’s Day to all the Dads, Grandads, Stepdads, Guardians and father figures across our club community.

Thank you for the lifts, the sideline support, the coaching, the volunteering, and everything you do for our players every week.

Today we also remember the Dads and Grandads who are no longer with us — the men who taught us about respect, commitment, kindness, honesty, and standing by your family, your team and your community.

Their love and values live on in all of us.

And that’s a wrap for our Saturday & Sunday Panthers Academy. Massive congratulations to all the brilliant kids who received their certificates at the weekend. Watching these young players learn new skills, grow in confidence, and give it their all every week has been incredible. A huge thank you to our fantastic coach Brendan, volunteers, and parents for your endless support this term. Enjoy the break.
