Rememberimg Tom Barry and the boys today. Guerilla warfare at its best here in Cork with the lads of the third brigade. It was an ambush that had monumental impact in Irish history but it didn't go without its losses on that day in Kilmichael.

RIP: Michael McCarthy, Jim O'Sullivan and Pat Deasy.

We tend to make things in business very complicated, myself included sometimes.

Some days call for the inner work only and leaving all of the strategy to one side for the day. Today is one of those days for me!

For me this looks like a cup of cacao by the stove in my pjs with my journal and pen. Some snuggles with my pets of course. Some tears to release and just giving myself the space to identify whatever blocks are arising for me.

In business we can get stuck or find ourselves in a bit of a funk and that's ok. The important thing here is to take responsibility for where you are, ask for the help, show up for yourself and do whatever inner work you may need to help you get back on track.

A very wise lady asked me a great question on a call today. Why are you afraid of success?

Well by gawd did I get plenty of journal pages from reflecting on this one. But to sum it up as briefly as I can the main theme coming through was not being able to hide through too much visibility.

Too much visibility would leave me open for rejections and judgements and would hurt my poor little ego 😂

The reality of the situation is, I'm building my business and there are going to be good days and bad days along the way. What I feel is important here is how we meet those unpreferable times and the plans we put in place to get through them.

To all of the people building their businesses... good job, chin up, you've got this, it's a journey and not a destination, take it easy on yourself, congratulations ⚡

Yesterday I celebrated passing my Psychology course with an honours result. Another qualification under my belt 🎓🥂🎓

Now remind me to not go back to college for at least another 5 years or so. This should be enough time for me to forget that it is a right pain in the arse at the same time.

Grateful for the opportunity of education but the lazy side to me not so much 😂
