Job Opportunity ✅

Fullbody Workhouse are seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic individual with a passion for health and fitness. The candidate must be able to work on their own initiative as well as work as part of a team. The ideal applicant must be flexible with hours as weekends, evenings and split shifts included in job.

Duties will include:
• Planning and carrying out timetabled strength & conditioning sessions
• Working with small groups – semi private members
• Communication and promotion of services within the business
• Customer service
• Light cleaning duties

Ideal candidate should have:
• Excellent communication skills, be punctual and have a willingness to learn
• Good computer skills – Microsoft literate
• Be eligible to work legally in Ireland and must be fluent in English
• Personal Training certification – desirable
• Strength and conditioning – desirable but not essential
• Nutrition certification - desirable but not essential

Ideal candidate must have:
• Fully qualified and certified Gym Instruction
• Knowledge and experience of teaching strength/fitness sessions
• At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role
• A strong passion for health and fitness with a ‘practice what you preach’ attitude

Job post is for a part time position of approx 20 hours per week to start with potential for an increase to full time position.

We pride ourselves on great coaching & progressive programs but more importantly is each of our personalities and how we interact with each client.

We actually care about everyone who comes through our doors.

“ I Started in Fullbody Workhouse Roscommon a little over a year ago and it was a game changer for me. Being floating in and out of gyms over the years but nothing ever really stuck.

FBW has a different feel to it.

Unfortunately for me I've been struggling with an injury for the most part of my time here but fortunately there has always been a coach there willing to listen and tweak the workouts to suit me.

There's always been somebody there to give advice and sometimes when required a bit of a kick in the arse too but Cathal and the crew are amazing.

I started off with the semi private small group coaching program to begin with which I think is a must for everybody because it gives you a great base for getting correct techniques but also it's a chance to get to know everybody and get the feel of the place because as well as the coaches there's a great group of members in there and your guaranteed a bit of crack.

I’ve now changed things a little and do a good bit on my own through open gym but it's still really the same as there's always somebody there if you have questions regarding your own personal programme so while your working on your own it still has the feel of being part of the group.

It’s a great community, very supportive!

As I’m busy in my job, it lends itself to busy parents, professionals or self employed as you can book your spot which means you’re assured of your own space and equipment regardless of training on your own our in the group.

In a very busy world, this saves so much time as I’m always guaranteed to get my workout completed without having to wait around for someone to finish with equipment.

They have so many slots everyday, which means huge flexibility and so it’s hard to miss your session.

All round a really good place to spend an hour or so per day “💪💪

From our small group coaching program to now feeling confident enough to train on his own, Dwain shares his story below.

“ I Started in Fullbody Workhouse Roscommon 4 years ago... and I wish I found something like FBW 20 years ago! I was one of those people bouncing from one gym to another, with no structure, poor technique and making no real progress.

When I joined FBW, I started off with the Semi-Private membership where I received excellent coaching and tips. I could see positive changes within weeks!!! The programs are of the highest quality and the small group coaching allowed for great focus and progress.

Recently I moved to the Open Gym membership where I'm now feeling confident enough to work on my own! Programs are shared and the coaches are there to bounce questions off which I love! They are so helpful and encouraging!

Members are so friendly, which makes it special. Always warm hellos and smiling faces. The 6:15AM slot can be tough most mornings but we always manage to have plenty of laughs during the sessions... which makes it easier 😄

My parents joined FBW after I started which is amazing. It's great to see them enjoying the group sessions .. sometimes having too much fun! 😅 They were afraid at first, but they soon realized that the programs cater for all age groups. My kids think it's normal for grandparents to work out!💪

On Saturdays I bring my daughters to the gym where they meet so many wonderful people! They join in some of the group sessions and absolutely love it! The coaches are so good to them 😊

Can't recommend FBW highly enough!! “👍

A great mindset for such a young lady, committed to honing her craft to become a top level golfer!

In this sport or any sport, the work you do away from the field, course or ring is just as important as the work you do in it.

This young lady knows that, she had only gone 14 when we started to coach her and she hasn’t looked back!

“ I’ve been going to Fullbody Workhouse Roscommon for the last 3 years.

I started off getting personally coached through my program which meant I got lots of help at the start of my development.

This greatly assisted me with my workouts, making sure my technique was consistent to prevent injuries.

With all the help and advice I’ve gotten from the coaches I feel so confident and comfortable that now i can train on my own.

I come in 3 times a week in the mornings and it’s never overcrowded which allows me to use any equipment i need to get my workout completed before school.

I’ve always received such good advice from the coaches with regards to my program to help me improve and progress.

I’m able to come in any time and I feel so comfortable there’s such a friendly environment with other members as they are all so supportive and helpful.

I really enjoy and look forward to coming in during the week.

I’ve progressed so much since coming to FBW, It’s helped so much in what I’m doing with golf.

I’ve definitely gotten so much stronger which has prevented any injuries and improved my performance in the last few years.

I’m able to ask the coaches any questions at anytime with my program.

“ I have been going to Fullbody Workhouse Roscommon the last 4 years and it was the best thing I ever did.

I had two bad knees and not a great back when I started.

Today I am like a new person!

I do semi private small group sessions between 3 and 4 days a week and I have to say the coaches are brilliant- They have made tweaks around my previous injuries which allowed me to progress through a structured program.

I’ve got a lot stronger, fitter and far more mobile than I was, I’ve learned new exercises and have became confident while training.

I’ve also made made great friends here as you really get to know the members you train along with as it’s a very friendly and supportive community. “

“ FBW is a great place to train and build your strength and conditioning under the guidance of excellent coaches with the first benifits incl better mood, increased energy and improved mobility.

I’ve been a member for the last 2 years and train @ the 5:15pm session after work 2-3 days per week!

The times are great and it fits in with my schedule, very easy to book my slot or change to a different one depending on my day.

The small groups are ideal as the coaches can give you attention and you also get to meet likeminded people who are on the same journey.

It’s a very friendly & welcoming environment.

I would definitely recommend it to anyone to join FBW. “
