🔴Division 1 Match Result�

Robinstown FC 3 – 4 Blackbull FC

Our senior first narrowly lost out to a strong Blackbull side last Thursday evening in Robinstown.

Robinstown started the brighter with early pressure resulting in a goal from Shane Bell assisted by Mark O’Neill. Despite the positive start, the reds were 2-1 down at half time.

The leveller came just after half-time as Cory McCarthy headed home a Shane Bell corner.

Despite having the better of it in the early stages of the second half, the away side scored twice in a few minutes on the hour mark. Robinstown steadied then and battled hard to the end, scoring from a Mark O’Neill penalty late on. The Blackbull keeper made two fantastic saves at the death to ensure the points went home with the away side.

Best of luck to Blackbull for the rest of the season.

BJD Celtic FC 6 – Robinstown FC 0

Our senior first team travelled to Cavan town to take on BJD Celtic on Friday night.

A disappointing performance ended in defeat but despite the scoreline the lads fought to the end. The lads will look to improve on this result this Thursday night against Blackbull at home.

Best of luck to BJD Celtic FC for the remainder of the season.

Two of our men’s senior teams in action this evening!⚪🔴

Our men’s senior first team are on the road this evening in NEFL Division 1 action taking on BJD Celtic. The Lads will look to build on a fantastic win against Kingscourt last Thursday. The kick-off is 8 pm in Cavan Astro Park.

Our men’s senior third team host Balrath FC at home in Division 4 action. Kick off is 7.30 pm in Robinstown.

All support welcome for both teams as they continue their league campaigns.
